Talltail woundered what it would be like to be abandoned by her family. The thought scared her half to death and sent shivers down her spine.

"But they never came back... As soon as I realized my family was gone I went looking for help. I stumbled into a clearing and found two ThunderClan warriors. They took me back to the ThunderClan camp, and I was raised by two queens. From then on I was a loyal ThunderClan cat." Frostfox took a deep breath. "A few nights ago my brother Stonefox appeared in my dreams. We talked for a long time, but then I woke up. Then last night my sister Snowfox came to me."

"Stonefox and I caught up on all we had missed over the seasons. Snowfox came to tell me that Stonefox is alive and I could find him and bring him here. I asked Snowfox if she would come live here too, but she hunts with StarClan now..."

HeatherStar shook her head in dizzyness from the tree climbing and didn't really hear what Talltail said but heard what Frostfox said, " How do you know where to find Stonefox? " HeatherStar replied.

Talltail returned Frostfox stare. *Even in death...* She thought to herself. She moved her gaze to Heatherstar, she would do the same for her leader, *and for the whole of my clan.*

Talltail kept gazing back at Frostfox. She knew her friend was going through some hard times and she knew he would have to go through more in the near future so, she decided that she would be there for him whenever he needed her.

Frostfox opened his eyes and looked at Heatherstar and Talltail. "I'm going to go back to camp. Maybe some fresh-kill and a nap will help me clear my head." He turned and started padding slowly back to ThunderClan.

Talltail watched Frostfox disappear behind the bushes. "Heatherstar, do you want to hunt some more or do you want to go back to camp to be with Frostfox?" she asked, concered. She knew that Frostfox was Heatherstar's mate and she might be worried about him.

Frostfox pushed through the thorn tunnel and walked to the fresh-kill pile. He chose a small bird and ate it quickly before going to the warriors' den and curling up.
